KITCHENS Click on Photos to Enlarge before AFTER This project involved a complete renovation of an existing and restrictive space. Taking up the carpeting, stripping the walls, removing the soffit, replacing cabinets, rearranging the appliances, installing track and under counter lighting as well as new plumbing fixtures and new flooring. The result is a bright, inviting, and functional space for food preparation, storage and entertaining. You can see to the back of the kitchen where an efficient and visually organized laundry and storage room were created out of a formerly impassable hard to use and unorganized area. before AFTER This project was a residential rental property near the beach. Give Me Shelter Design recommended that we decorate the space with the colors of the elements surrounding the apartment; water, sun, sky, sand, and trees. We chose functional, durable, economical materials to update many of the apartment's existing fixtures and details making the space clean, fresh, fun and more desirable. Here in the kitchen we painted the walls and cabinets, installed new counters, plumbing fixtures, lighting and flooring.
